A large number of truck drivers strike led to inadequate capacity, including the ginning mill, textile mills, traders and other parties will adversely affect. First of all, the strike has seriously affected the progress of seed cotton listing in the new year, and many cotton ginning mills are facing a shutdown due to insufficient seed cotton supply. Secondly, for textile enterprises, cotton stocks are generally maintained, so raw material supply is less affected. However, yarn, grey cloth and other products will be affected by insufficient capacity, resulting in increased storage costs and delayed delivery. Third, the obstruction of cotton transportation makes the exporter unable to fulfill the contract, which can only be solved by canceling the contract or paying the liquidated damages for late shipment.

Mr.AtulS.Ganatra, chairman of the India Cotton Association (CAI), said the strike has led to the overall resistance of the cotton industry in India, the whole cotton industry is in a semi - paralyzed state, and the losses of all sides in the market are serious. He called on the government to take effective measures as soon as possible to properly solve the problem, otherwise it will cause huge losses to the entire cotton industry.
