Create a new benchmark for the coating upgrade of the tanker trailer industry

From the establishment of the project in July 2019 to the start of production in May 2020, the project is the most difficult bulk cement tanker trailer powder spraying and coating line upgrade project in the industry, which overcomes the large volume and complex structure of the powder tanker trailer, as well as the large variety of mixing tanks. It is the first time in the industry to use nano-ceramic environmental protection pre-treatment with powder spraying technology, and strive to create a new benchmark for coating upgrades in the domestic tanker industry.

In the past, many processes of tanker production required continuous operations on long assembly lines. Especially the painting process is not only time-consuming and labor-intensive, but also has certain dust and organic waste gas hazards. The newly upgraded automated coating production line greatly improves production efficiency and shortens the lead time.

The working hours for painting production were shortened from the original 48 hours to 4.5 hours, and the delivery time of the whole vehicle was shortened by 6 days. Except for individual workstations that require manual assistance, the entire coating line is basically automated. After it is put into production, a single shift requires only 22 people. Compared with the original single shift of 100 people, the manual usage is reduced by 78%, and the labor intensity of employees is greatly reduced. The newly commissioned powder spraying line and the volatile organic compound treatment equipment fully meet the national green environmental protection emission requirements. This is a major breakthrough in the upgrade of CIMC's production line, which will greatly improve the coating quality of products and significantly enhance the coating automation level.
