Nigeria customer is a repeat customer of CIMC. Since this Nigeria customer visited our factory in 2018, they have ordered a large number of semi trailers at CIMC every year. 

This year, the customer directly found our sales manager Lillian to consult the drawbar trailer. The Nigeria customer wants to customize a dropside drawbar trailer with a high side wall, up to 30 tons of load.

Difference between drawbar trailer and semi trailer 

Different from a semi trailer, a drawbar trailer is a trailer whose axle is placed behind the center of gravity of the vehicle (when the vehicle is evenly loaded) and is equipped with a coupling device that can transmit horizontal or vertical force to the tractor! Generally there are two axles for trailers and one axle for drawbar trailer. Drawbar trailer refers to a vehicle that has no power and is driven by the main vehicle.

Dropside drawbar trailer is the front end of the trailer connected to the rear end of the tractor. The tractor only provides a pulling force and does not bear weight. That is, a full trailer is added behind the ordinary car, and the two are connected by a hook. The trailer can increase the loading capacity of the truck and reduce fuel consumption, thereby reducing transportation costs.

The load of the drawbar trailer for sale is fully borne by itself, and it is only connected to the locomotive with a hook. The locomotive only provides power to help the trailer overcome the frictional resistance of the road. A drawbar trailer can stand upright on its own tires, while a semi-trailer must stand on its front legs.

At present, our common drawbar trailer for sale include tanker trailers, flatbed trailers, container chassis trailers, and dump trailers.

1. Container flatbed drawbar trailer: a trailer with a frame structure and no floor, which is specially used to transport containers.

2. Drawbar trailer tanker: The cargo part is a trailer with a closed tank structure. Usually used to transport liquids, oil, water, chemical liquids, etc.

3. Drawbar dumper trailer: a trailer with an automatic dumping device in the cargo area. There may also be major traffic accidents caused by broken traction frames.

4. Dropside drawbar trailer: a bulk cargo drawbar trailer with fence or sidewall.
